May was a quiet month.

Flashback to April 2009 - Disneyland

We LOVE Disneyland (just not in the Summer - to many people and to HOT). Are passes are also blocked all summer! John took a day off in the middle of the week and we had FUN!!!

Strawberry Picking with Playgroup

Every April we go Strawberry picking with playgroup. We start the afternoon with a yummy lunch at Ruby's and then head to the fields. This year I left Anna with my mom so that Lilly and I could have some quality time! We had so much fun - it is a wonderful tradition.

April was a wonderful month. My Aunt Lynda and Uncle John visited from Connecticut, we celebrated Easter, and we went to Disneyland!!! Lots of fun! Here come the pictures.......

The Clip Fairy is BACK!!!!

I took my etsy site down for about 6 weeks because we were gone for a few weeks and I just needed to gather my thoughts and order lots of great appliques. Most of the appliques are now here and I am ready to get back to business. I am also going to be putting my Fairy Bags up on my site very soon! I am so excited to be back in the Clip (and now wristlet world). It is such a great outlet for me! I will be going a give-away VERY SOON!!! If you are reading this and have a blog let me know - I am going to pick a few blogs to do reviews and give-aways!!!

Back in the Blogging World

I'm back and ready to go!!! I have taken a break from blogging because life has just been overwhelming. Pre-school is out for the summer, we are moving, and I am trying to get my business up and running! I have to say that I am VERY excited about our move -we have been wanting to get back to Point Loma for 3 years and it is finally happening! We signed the lease on our town-home last week and we are moving boxes every few days. We have a month to get moved in so I am not sure when we will sleep there for the first time, but we are already taking advantage of the pools! I will say moving is overwhelming. Having time has been great, but still. We had a garage sale a few weeks ago and got rid of a lot, but being in a house for 6 1/2 years with 2 kids means lots of stuff. We are purging in a MAJOR way. It has been such a good feeling to get rid of stuff we just don't need. I am determined to not bring anything into our new place that I do not feel strongly about. I did put a bunch of memento's and family heirlooms into storage, because our new place is small and we will only be there for a year (more on that later). One of my favorite things about our new place is that I get my own office!!! The girls are going to continue to share a room - something that I think is very positive. I will be able to really run my business which is expanding to include wristlets and other items that I will share later. I can't say enough how excited I am to have a place to work that is mine. I am also setting up a sewing table. I am determined to grow The Clip Fairy and Fairy Bags. I am also motivated by my commitment to pay for pre-school and my new passion Pilate's out of the money I make. More very soon!
